Free Printable Pub Quiz Answer Sheets
Every quiz night needs answer sheets, and a lot of the free templates out there are covered in clip art that eats your printer ink. Ours are plain black and white, so they print cheaply and photocopy well. There are six of them, all A4 PDFs: three answer sheets, a multiple choice sheet, a scoresheet for the quizmaster and a page of tiebreaker slips. Pop your email in the box and we'll send you the lot.
Once you've signed up, you'll get an email with a link to a Google Drive folder. The answer sheets are in there along with a free pack of at least five of our quizzes, and after that we'll send you a free current affairs round most weeks. You can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Pub Quiz Answer Sheet (10 questions)
The standard one. A line for the team name, a space for the round number, ten numbered lines with plenty of room for messy handwriting, and a score box at the bottom. Hand one to each team at the start of every round and collect it in at the end. If you only print one of these, print this one.
Answer Sheet, Two Rounds per Page
The same ten-answer sheet, twice on one page with a cut line across the middle. It halves your printing, which adds up quickly if you've got fifteen teams and eight rounds. The lines are a bit closer together, but there's still room for most answers.
Answer Sheet (20 questions)
Twenty lines on one page, for longer rounds or for a quiz where teams keep one sheet for the whole general knowledge section. It's also handy for a music round where you play twenty short clips and ask for the titles.
Multiple Choice Answer Sheet
Ten questions with A, B, C and D to circle. Marking takes seconds, and nobody can argue that their spelling of Tchaikovsky was close enough. It fits our free weekly current affairs round, which is multiple choice, and any other round where you read out four options.
Quizmaster Scoresheet
A landscape grid for whoever's running the night: sixteen teams down the side, eight rounds across the top and a shaded total column. Fill it in as the sheets come back and you'll always know the scores at half time. If you have more than sixteen teams, print two.
Tiebreaker Slips
Ten slips per page, each with room for a team name and one answer. Ask a question with a number for an answer, such as the year a famous song came out, and the closest team wins. Most nights you won't need them, but it's much better to have them ready than to settle a tie with a shouting match. There are 20 free tiebreaker questions with answers to go with them.
How many answer sheets to print
Work it out as teams times rounds, then add a few. Eight teams playing six rounds need 48 single sheets, or 24 pages of the two-rounds version once they're cut. A handful of spares covers the team that turns up late and the one that spills a pint on round three. You'll only need one scoresheet, and one page of tiebreaker slips is plenty.
Everything prints fine in black and white on a home printer. If you run a quiz every week, print a big batch once and keep it with the pens. For the different ways to mark, see our tips on how to host a pub quiz.
Need the questions too?
We put a few free weekly pub quiz questions and answers from the week's news on the site every Sunday, and the full ten-question round goes to everyone who signs up.
