TV Advert Quizzes with Answers
Adverts might be the best quiz subject there is. Everyone has watched thousands of them without meaning to, which means people know far more than they think, and the moment somebody recognises an advert from a single still they'll usually start singing the jingle. We've made more advert quizzes than anything else, from classic British adverts and the ones everyone remembers from the eighties and nineties, to this year's campaigns, mascots, slogans, toy adverts and American commercials.
Most of these are picture quizzes: 12 stills from TV adverts on one printed sheet, and players name the brand being advertised. There's space on the sheet to write each answer, a separate quiz master answer sheet, and a clues version with some letters of each answer filled in, which is handy if younger players are joining in. Everything is an instant PDF download, and every Etsy listing has a full preview.
British advert picture quizzes
Our main series of British advert quizzes, now up to eleven volumes. Each one mixes adverts from across the decades, so there's usually something for everyone at the table, and they're numbered so you can run a new one each quiz night without repeating yourself.
British Adverts Picture Quiz
The quiz that started the series, with twelve of the most famous British adverts. Hamlet, Gold Blend and Yellow Pages are all in there, and so is a carpet freshener advert that people will be humming for the rest of the night. If you're only buying one advert quiz, this is the one we'd pick.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 2
Twelve more British adverts. Cornetto, Whiskas and Real Fires are in there, along with three sportswear brands that are harder to tell apart from a still than you'd expect. A good follow-up to the first volume.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 3
Volume three includes After Eight, Murray Mints and Specsavers, plus an early internet provider that will make anyone over forty hear a dial-up modem. A nice mix of sweets, supermarkets and cars.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 4
Volume four has Guinness, Levi's and the Creature Comforts adverts, which were so good people forget what they were advertising. There's a heavy lean towards beer and aftershave, so it suits a pub crowd.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 5
Volume five includes Dulux, Yorkie and Remington, along with a famously lonely cigarette advert from the fifties and some classic drinks adverts. One for people with long memories.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 7
Volume seven includes Hovis, Homepride and Duracell, and the Hovis one is the advert with the boy, the bike and the very steep hill. A good one for a nostalgic crowd.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 9
Volume nine includes Ferrero Rocher, Oxo and Weetabix, and a small French car with a very memorable father and daughter. Mostly food and drink, so it works well at a dinner party.

British Adverts Picture Quiz 10
Volume ten has Stella Artois, Fairy Liquid and Hofmeister, along with British Rail and a mobile phone network that no longer exists. A few of these are proper deep cuts.

Adverts from this year's TV, which suit a younger crowd and anyone who watches a lot of ad-supported streaming. They're also a good leveller at a mixed-age quiz, because the older guests don't automatically have the advantage.
2025 UK Adverts
Twelve adverts from 2025. Argos and DFS are in there, along with another sofa company that's easy to mix up with DFS and a luxury fashion house. You'll have seen them all, but can you remember whose they were?

The fourth 2025 volume includes Walkers, Haribo and Vodafone, along with two breakdown services that are easy to mix up.
View on EtsyAdvert mascots, slogans and celebrities
Different ways into the same subject. There are mascot and celebrity picture quizzes, a close-up "mystery" version where the stills are tightly cropped, a quiz where the pictures are clues to the advert rather than the advert itself, and two match-up quizzes where players pair slogans or celebrities with the right brand.
Mystery British Adverts
Classic British adverts, but cropped right down so you're working from a small corner of the frame. Tango, Yellow Pages and Hamlet are in there, which should help, until you see how little of each one you get. A harder round for people who've already done the main series.

British Advert Picture Clues
Each picture is a clue to a famous advert rather than a still from it, so players have to remember the advert and then the brand. A man looking for a book about fly fishing, a bear you're told to follow and a pair of meerkats are all in there. It's one of our favourites.
View on Etsy
British Celebrity Adverts
Twelve adverts starring Hollywood and British celebrities, and players name the brand. Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg and Kevin Bacon all appear, which makes the stars easy to spot and the brands surprisingly hard to remember.

Advert Mascots
A picture quiz of famous advertising mascots. The Andrex puppy and the Green Giant are in there, along with a tea-drinking monkey and some aliens who couldn't believe we peeled our own potatoes. Great for families.

Mystery Advert Mascots
Twelve advertising mascots in close-up. Tony the Tiger, the Honey Monster and the Michelin Man are in there, along with a liquorice allsort and a meerkat. Harder than it sounds when you only see an ear.

British Advert Slogans Match-Up
Twenty advertising slogans, and players match each one to the right brand. "Just do it" is an easy start, while others like "Rollin', rollin', rollin'" and "Put a tiger in your tank" need a longer memory. Answers included. A quick, fun round that's easy to read out.

British Advert Celebrities Match-Up
Fifteen celebrities who have fronted British adverts, and players match each to the brand. Gary Lineker is an easy start, and it gets harder with the likes of George Cole and Maureen Lipman. Answers included.

UK Soft Drink Adverts
Twelve soft drink adverts. Tango, Um Bongo and Kia-Ora are in there, and if you grew up in the eighties you'll have at least two of the jingles stuck in your head by the end.

Guess the UK Snack Advert
A word round rather than a picture round: eighteen descriptions of famous snack and chocolate adverts, and players name the brand. Harry Enfield interviewing himself, Mr T throwing a chocolate bar and a drumming gorilla are all in there. Easy to read out from the front.

British Christmas Adverts
Twelve Christmas adverts from British TV. Sainsbury's, Aldi and Woolworths are in there, along with a fried chicken chain and a battery brand. A good one for the office Christmas party.
